What should I be doing? My sister would say I should be watching ER but that was on at 8 and I was out grocery shopping. So I have decided instead of waiting until tomorrow I am going to clean the fridge tonight. I am not just talking a slight re arranging I am talking a massive overhaul including wiping things down. I can no longer handle the fridge. Hopefully I don't gag. I will take some before and after photos on here and hope that my roommate doesn't kill me for posting them.

My Trip West

OK so here are a few of my pictures from my trip to Creston and Seattle.

Pike Market Seattle

You know how on TV you see people waiting in line for a really good place to eat. Like on Seinfeld where they line up for soup. While we had to line up to get something from the Russian Bakery.

Leslie enjoying her item from the Bakery.

Guess how much this bouquet of flowers cost at the market

The first starbucks not at the original location but very close to where it was. This is the original logo.

Leslie with I think it was her half decaf drip coffee

Hannah two starbucks? Whoa you must be addicted.

We got to go to the Mariners game. I was pretty excited.

We bought the cheapest seats possible and then sat in the second most expensive seats. It was really empty in the stadium. The Mariners did win so that was cool.

Yummy Lemonade

Must finish with photos of Callum

He likes to nap in his swing during the day.

Carolyn, Brad, Callum and Anny came to visit a few days ago and I will try to post those photos once I charge my camera battery.

Have a great day.

Fun Car

So yesterday some people stopped by. The one guy had a new car. I asked him what it was. He said "It's a Nissan Versa do you want to take it for a drive?" and I was like "YES, YES, YES" Then he was like "Can you drive standard?" and I was like "Yes" He then tossed me his keys. So his girlfriend and another friend and I took it for a spin. We were gone for about 15-20 minutes. As soon as I pulled away from the curb I fell in love with the car. It was so nice to drive and really smooth. It was amazing :D Unfortunately now I want one but really that isn't very realistic. So instead I just dream about it.

I wouldn't want one in this color. They have a few other really nice color choices :D

Life

So not much has really happened in the past three months. I have been working lots. I have basically been full time. When the month is over I will have worked 21 days. I have seen a bunch of friends in the past three weeks. Natashia, Sarah, Allison, Lennae, Erin and Michelle so that has been fun.

Jen Z and I hang out a couple of days a week and keep the workers at the local starbucks at safeway employed.

Ok so we are addicted but least we are able to admit it. Speaking of Starbucks Jen is picking me up in 20 minutes and we are going there and to Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart here in Camrose is in the process of becoming a super Wal- Mart. I don't plan on starting to buy groceries there but it will be nice if I just need to pick up a thing or two.

Yesterday Lennae and I wanted to go and see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 I had avoided seeing the first one for a long time but then finally I saw it and actually liked it so I was looking forward to the second one. We were going to go and see it here in town but it turns out the paper was wrong it was no longer showing in town. So we drove to Wetaskiwin. We had the directions from Google Maps they were super easy. Unfortunately the Movie theater has recently moved and our directions were useless and we were running short on time. But no worries I am not my dad so we stopped and asked for directions twice because Leanne and I didn't understand the first ladies. But we finally made it.

It was pretty good it left things open for a sequel but in a way it didn't really so who knows if there will be a third.

Work is going pretty good. I really like interacting with the residents but I some times get really frustrated with employee politics. Hopefully things in that area will improve.

Gotta go now

work

I just got home from work and it is 7:20am. I am tired. I need to sleep.

Work Work Work

So I started work last Monday and I have been a little busy since then. I worked Monday and Tuesday from 7am-3pm and then Wednesday from 3pm-11pm. Then on Thursday I was suppose to have the day off. But then they called me at 2:20 asking if I could be at work at 3 so I went and worked 3pm-11pm. Then last night I worked 3pm-11pm. Now tonight I work from 11pm-7am and the same with tomorrow. I am suppose to be off Monday morning at 7am until 11pm on Wed but who knows they will probably end up calling or something. So on night shift I have heard that technically you are not suppose to sleep but then I have also heard others say that from 2am-6am is sleep so we will see how that goes. I am really enjoying work so far. I like the people that I work with meaning the residents and I also like most of the people I work with. But I haven't even been there a week and I can already tell that there is a lot of politics. Plus with an all women staff that doesn't help the mix. I am hoping to avoid the politics and all of the other garbage.
My hope for today is to go to bed around five and hopefully get a couple hours of sleep in before work. I am also hoping that I can visit with Allison and Lennae if they are around today.
It's 10am and I haven't eaten breakfast yet so I am going to go. Later.

So Frustrated Right Now

OK first the reason the job has cost me $120 so far is I needed to buy scrubs and I also needed to get a criminal record check.

The reason I am so frustrated right now is because of the criminal record check. We have a RCMP station in town and a Police station in town. If you live right in Camrose then you need to get yours done at the police station. So on Monday I go in and fill out the form. The lady isn't really that friendly but she tells me it will be 2-3 days. So as of yesterday I hadn't heard anything so I called and the lady was pretty cranky of the phone and was like "we will call you when it is ready" ok then. So last night I called my Uncle in BC who is a police officer and he said it should only take a certain amount of time. They do it for you right away. So I called the station last night thinking I would get voicemail so I could find out what time the administrative office is open. She took my info was very nice and was going to track my check down for me. So this morning I go to the police station. The lady who wasn't very happy on monday is there and she is less happy today. So I tell her I am coming to get my criminal record check. She was like what is your name so I tell her and she turns around like she is going to go and look into it and then she was like it's not done. I was like when is it going to be done maybe in a couple of hours. I couldn't even ask to speak to the person my uncle told me to because she was just like cutting me off and was so mean. So maybe in a couple of hours I will get it. Problem is I need to start work on Monday and before that I need to get it back and fill out a bunch of forms with my employer. So I will give it one more hour and then I will call and talk to the person my uncle told me to. If that doesn't work I might see what the RCMP can do for me.

So here I am waiting

So I haven't even started work yet but so far it has cost me $120.00. LAME!
